Fat Furs and Why? A Direct Answer.

Sun Jul 15, 2007, 2:49 AM
I think I may change this soon to look more appealing to the eye.

Someone asked me a VERY important question recently and I thought I should share it with you all as it may make things clearer as to why I draw the things I do as well as shine light on the subject to those confused about my fetish and interest and the choices made by them.

Here it is and I hope it makes things clearer for everyone. If you want to make ignorant replies and imply that my logic is unfounded or stupid than you are a menace to society and progress and must be purged from man-kind. >=o In a very serious and direct manner.

Its informative!

The Question:
Well, I'm wondering what is it that drives you to draw such large and curvaceous furry characters?

Also, why do you not draw furries have certain body parts showing like many other furry artists? (on this question, do not misunderstand, I think it's a good thing that you don't get to the point of vulgarity or distatefulness in this aspect of your art, I'm just wondering what keeps you from going down that "path?")

My Answer:
You mean nipple stuff and the like? Well there are LOTs of reasons why I don't do that sort of thing. One is that creatures with fur (mammals and such) do not not have very noticeable nipples in the first place. Their fur is in the way. And about other aspects of why I don't go to extremities (possibly sexual to the extreme or other such vulgar things) is because I just don't find an interest in them. I find no sense in doing such unless its required to do so. I draw what I like and the kind of things I draw and create don't require that I go down that path.

I like leaving things to the imagination of the viewer since that plays a more powerful part in attracting their attention.

As for my drive of why I draw furs of that size and nature would have to be my interest in the fantasy. Its an aspect that I find that the norm doesn't really cover. Its like finding a new use for a tool or coming across a particular idea that hasn't been developed. Since its relatively new to the mind's imagination I can pretty much do whatever I want with it without being partonized by my peers who follow that idea. I can create its world since the interest hasn't developed a wide-accepted formula for it yet. I get the oppurtunity to make that formula and make it as loose and free-ranged as I wish.

Specifically though, why immensely curvy furs? Well, I guess it has to be that visualizing its experience activates certain imaginitive ideas that I never thought of before. You have to imagine what it is like to be or interact with the character in order to understand it in the first place. That goes for pretty much any interest I guess.

Here's what is going on.

I have a pic that is perfect as a follow up to this journal and its coincidentially the one I have been trying to put up here before I begin my questhood-diddlyness into commissionisism <--intentional

I'll submit that tomorrow, as well as a couple trade back pics of precisely 4 in the following days, start my commissions AND upload a held back pic every third day. I have THAT many pics that no one else has seen. Let the good times follow.

Sorry for the delay! I just wanted to confirm that the negative events that have been happening around me lately has been beaten to death in the proper and more permanent fashion.

Its OVERRRrrrrrr....Now go away.

This thing is teh LoL, no?

Nicely said.

Me, I just go by a "People like what they like" philosophy. So long as no one's getting hurt physically or emotionally (someone being figuratively blinded by stumbling upon something however, with a few well deserved exceptions that I deem obvious, doesn't count though :P), I'm not gonna judge.

P.S. If any of this looks weird, well it's almost 1:30 AM over where I am. (EST) So yeah, my typing quality sometimes bites it when I'm tired. ;) I hope you get the jist of what I'm trying to say though.

Well said!

But in my opinions why I see people draw fat furries is because to provide laughter for people like me.

Not much for me, I remember back in 2000 when I send my stuff to Team Artail and they never put it up, because I was not advanced yet or they just want the better people. So I never got a lot of peoples attention when I was drawing normal, didn’t wanted sickos either when I drew adult art. So while I was surfing on the surfing on the searcg google I found a fat renamon pic and clicked on it, I found the round house and this was going to be a perfect place to send the art that is deferent to normal. So when I send did in my pics there I seem to have loads of e-mails of the fans who loved it and then I started to get people on my MSN messenger. At that day, I started drawing fat because of that find day in the round house. I’m pretty sure it does not bother me but I’m pretty sure if anyone made a cartoon based on nothing but fat anthros, it may have a lot of fans and a lot money coming in. ^^

I like your perspectives. A little of this and a little of that and I say we are on the same page.

But I hope you didn't draw fat entirely just for the attention.

Well done, very well said.

"I like leaving things to the imagination of the viewer since that plays a more powerful part in attracting their attention"

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Ah, I recall you saying the stuff about why you draw fat furs, but some of the other info is new to me. Personally, I'm relieved to find out that it's not your thing to draw more explicit pictures. No matter how much time has passed or how good the art is, I don't like nude drawings (etc.) and it's uncommon for me to even "favorite" a picture where you can see the woman's nipples through her clothes. Sure, I understand that that is the artist's choice, but it is still disappointing when an artist I like who hasn't drawn nudity in the past starts drawing nude pictures all of a sudden.

Anyways, about updating your gallery, don't stress out about it, okay? Now that you've overcome those negative events, I wouldn't want you to feel any new pressure. Thanks for the update.
